Shahid has spent 2 decades representing San Francisco and Washington as a legal advocate, national non-profit leader, and movement musician. As the Director of Grassroots Advocacy at the Electronic Frontier Foundation he has been defending your digital rights and organizing movements to end warrantless surveillance. Today, Shahid is the first Democrat in 30 years to run against Nancy Pelosi in the general election and only the 1st Democrat to raise over a million dollars.
